A Call to Your Higher Self
I have been honored to work with extraordinary people who never cease to teach me about the power and the resiliency of the human spirit. I have learned that people have gifts and a reason for being here. There is master plan for our lives that is far more powerful than we can possibly imagine! I am here to respectfully challenge, perhaps even shake up, and call out the greatness in people.
About Laura Cowlen, Psy.D., ATC
My intention in work and life is to make a difference in the lives of others and ultimately a difference in our world. I cannot live any other way. I love my work! There is nothing that I speak about or coach on that I do not practice in my life each and every day. My gifts include compassion, intuition, humor and humility. I’ve worked in the counseling field for almost twenty years, and spent more than a decade engaged in my own personal growth. What have I learned from these experiences? I’ve learned that love is a choice, and people do best when we accept them fully wherever they are. I’ve learned that there are few differences among us, and the ability to laugh with self is one of the highest forms of self-actualization! I’ve learned that thoughts are energy and we are masterful creators of our lives. And I’ve learned that every obstacle is an opportunity. When we embrace the gift, we transform our lives.
I challenge people to move beyond self-limiting thoughts and behaviors. I believe in the “bigness” of my clients. I ask the hard questions and trust in their ability to go there. I take a stand for what they want in life. My clients bring me to my feet and I celebrate their success as if it were my own!
